Midway Business Association Earth Day (event): “Join us for Earth Day in Midway! We’ll meet at 10 am near Powell Butte Visitor’s Center to help beautify the Butte and then explore on several guided tours. The first 25 people receive a FREE garden + seed gift package.”

Portland Arbor Day: ” … this event will feature multi-cultural performances, music and storytelling, to celebrate the many communities of Portland and our many wordly connections to trees. … “Explore natural objects from burls to bee hives, participate in an ecological scavenger hunt, print botanical cards, learn about the history of Portland’s Urban Forest and connect with our many community and environmental partners. Additionally, we will be giving away tree seedlings, offering bucket truck rides into the tree canopy and demonstrating the art and science of tree climbing!”

The David Douglas Education Foundation is celebrating its 25th Anniversary benefiting  the CTE (Career Technology Education) and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) programs. Deadline for registration, is passed but you can still make a donation (here).
