There’s a lot of new development down in Lents, and with new development comes the likelihood of increased rent.

Highland UCC will be hosting their 33rd annual Martin Luther King Jr tribute. It’s been 50 years since he was assassinated.
This year’s theme: “Where do we go from here… ”
There’s not a lot online about the event, but I know there’s be informational booths including folks from the Albina Music Trust. This group is trying to preserve the musical history of funk in North Portland in the 1970s. Read more in this Willamette Week story.
