Learning Gardens Laboratory teaches garden-based education to youth, students, and community members.
They’re hosting a farm-to-table event this weekend. It’s sold out, but still worth knowing about:
“The evening includes:A guided, edible tour through the garden; a multi-course meal prepared by PSU Eats Executive Chef Matt Steele; each dish includes freshly grown produce from LGL, along with wine and beer pairings; live entertainment; storytelling by PSU students.”

SUNDAY
From 1 pm – 4 pm, Montavilla Initiative will be hosting a park cleanup at Montavilla Park. At 4 pm, they’ll be a potluck dinner.
After the dinner, Montavilla Initiative is hosting a press conference @ 7:30 pm in the parking lot of Montavilla Park. They will be meeting the press to discuss chronic crime and livability issues.
