Pedestrian deaths in East Portland is an ongoing tragedy, making itself know yet again with two deaths. State Rep. Khanh Pham (D-East Portland)responded in this Willamette Week article.

Lowering the speed limit on a 5.5-mile stretch between Killingsworth and Foster Boulevards has been the focus of transportation advocates for almost a year— and these two tragic deaths reinforce the need for change.
