The Portland Street Response is an innovative solution to reduce unnecessary interaction with police— and free up police to respond to more serious calls.

Artists’ workspace studio True North is having an artists market Saturday:

Montavilla cleanup

“Join SOLVE and JOIN to keep our Northeast Neighborhood trash free! We will have part of our group picking up trash in the Madison South and Montavilla neighborhoods along NE 82nd and Halsey Avenue.”

Portland Public Schools is celebrating the grand opening of a new middle school: Kellogg Middle School.
